Speaking of which, I've just spent the last 3 hours finishing colouring a picture (not including the time taken on the lineart and initial colour - n -), and just came on to upload it when I saw this poll. It made me lol.
The worst part is when you look back on it and it's rubbish XD
Having ADD means focusing on a piece of art for a really long time is hard. Anything that requires more than like 45 minutes to an hour generally means I'm going to get distracted, and have to take breaks. XD Hence why I rarely upload art.
I tend to just... idk, forget about it or lose interest... x_x' My attention span for working on something is only, like, an hour, maybe an hour and a half at most... -_-
It depends on what kind of picture, really. But for me, spending a long period of time drawing is very easy. It's the coloring that kills my patience and determination.
It's something I sort of slip into. I'll start drawing something, with usually nothing in mind, and dick in a box, it's been four hours.
That's easy.
What's not so keen is the content of the work. Typically. Like proportionate males, certain poses, character/costume design, which I try to do but half-ass it.
If I spend a lot of time and work on it, I'll be proud of it. CARRY ON MY WAYWARD SON
